After wax, you should:

Keep the Area Clean & Gentle

Avoid touching the waxed area unnecessarily for the first 24 hours.

Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser if needed.

Pat dry—don’t rub the skin.

Avoid Heat & Friction

Skip hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or hot tubs for 24–48 hours.

Avoid tight clothing that rubs the area.

No intense exercise for 24 hours if it causes excessive sweating.

Skip Irritants

Avoid perfumes, heavily fragranced lotions, or deodorants immediately after waxing.

No exfoliating or harsh scrubs for at least 48 hours.

Soothe the Skin

Apply a calming lotion, aloe gel, or post-wax serum if the area feels red or sensitive.

Avoid over-moisturizing oily areas to prevent clogged pores.

Prevent Ingrown Hairs

After 48 hours, you can gently exfoliate 1–2 times a week.

Consider using an ingrown hair serum or gentle exfoliating toner.

Avoid Sun & Tanning

Stay out of direct sun or tanning beds for at least 48 hours.

Waxed skin is more sensitive and prone to irritation or hyperpigmentation.

Timing & Maintenance

Waxing every 4–6 weeks is ideal for maintaining smooth skin.

Avoid shaving between waxes to allow hair to grow back properly.
