What Is a Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a non-invasive brow treatment designed to smooth, lift, and shape your natural brow hairs so they lay exactly where you want them. Think of it as a “reset” for your brows ; especially if they’re unruly, uneven, sparse in spots, or just refuse to stay in place.
During a brow lamination, your brow hairs are gently softened and then brushed into a more uniform, flattering direction. Once the shape is set, the hairs are conditioned and nourished, leaving brows that look fuller, fluffier, and more defined— without adding any hair or pigment.
It’s especially popular for:
Brows that grow downward or sideways
Gaps or sparse areas that makeup never quite fixes
Naturally thick brows that need structure
Anyone wanting a polished, “done” look with minimal effort
What Does Brow Lamination Do (and Not Do)?
What it does:
Makes brows look fuller and more symmetrical
Helps cover sparse areas by redirecting existing hairs
Creates a lifted, clean, styled brow look
Reduces daily brow styling time
What it doesn’t do:
It doesn’t add hair or stimulate new growth
It’s not permanent
It doesn’t involve needles, tattoos, or pain
What Happens During the Appointment?
Your appointment is relaxing and typically takes about 45–60 minutes. Here’s what to expect:
Consultation – We talk about your brow goals and preferred style (soft and natural vs. bold and fluffy).
Lamination process – A solution is applied to soften the brow hairs so they can be reshaped.
Shaping & setting – Brows are brushed into their ideal position and set.
Conditioning treatment – Nourishing products are applied to keep brows healthy and hydrated.
Optional add-ons – Many clients choose to add a brow tint or wax for extra definition.
Most people describe the feeling as mild warmth or tingling — never painful.
How Long Do Results Last?
Brow lamination results typically last 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare. As the brow hairs naturally shed and regrow, they’ll slowly return to their original pattern.
Is Brow Lamination Safe?
Yes — when performed by a licensed professional using quality products, brow lamination is considered very safe. That said, it’s not recommended if you have:
Open wounds or active irritation in the brow area
Certain skin conditions affecting the brows
Extremely compromised or over-processed brow hairs
Sensitive skin (let's do a patch test first!)
If you’re unsure, a consultation is always the best place to start.
What About Aftercare?
After your brow lamination, you’ll want to:
Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours
Avoid steam, saunas, and heavy sweating during that time
Skip brow makeup and oils for 24 hours
Brush brows daily and apply a conditioning oil if recommended
Good aftercare helps extend your results and keeps your brows healthy.
Is Brow Lamination Right for Me?
If you want brows that look naturally fuller, smoother, and more put-together — without daily styling or permanent changes — brow lamination is a great option. Whether your brows are wild, uneven, or just need a little extra love, this treatment is fully customizable to your face and style.
